I don’t know about other states / counties, but here, the pill is free. You can go to Planned Parenthood before and get 3 months worth of free birth control but now it’s all free. Yet condoms aren’t?
And yes while many place give out free condoms, they don’t give them out in boxes. It’s more like “here, take a couple.” And they’re always laying out in the open. Who knows how old they are and if they were punctured.
And while the pill can be used for medical reasons, most women don’t use it for that reason. They use it to regulate their period and to prevent pregnancy. Men use condoms to prevent pregnancies and stay clean of STD’s. So why is the pill free and condoms aren’t?
I do understand that the pill is more complicated since it’s messing with your hormones and your body, but doesn’t that make it more expensive than a condom?
Maybe I’m babbling and spewing bullshit.
Just a random thought.

I have never read a quote so perfect before in my life. This is exactly what I tell girls I know that want to be oh so very tragic and romantic

I don’t understand why it’s a bad thing to look at your life this way. The way that movies and other media make me think and connect to my own life is what makes me love those things so much. Sorry if it seems lame, but I don’t really care.
